A quick guide to the odds in our MrAnalyst match previews. We show three ways of saying the same thing:
Decimal (e.g. 1.39) โ your total return per 1 unit staked: stake 1 โ get 1.39 back (0.39 profit). Lower = bigger favourite.
American / moneyline (e.g. -256 / +384) โ negative = favourite (risk that amount to win 100); positive = underdog (stake 100 to win that amount).
Implied probability (e.g. 72%) โ the chance the price implies: 1 รท decimal.
Worked example โ Austria vs Jordan
| Implied | Decimal | American | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Austria | 72% | 1.39 | โ256 |
| Draw | 21% | 4.84 | +384 |
| Jordan | 12% | 8.46 | +746 |
The implied percentages add up to ~105%, not 100% โ that extra ~5% is the bookmakersโ built-in margin (the overround, or vig).
Our previews use a consensus across ~47 bookmakers and flag the best available price per outcome. Odds are shown for information only โ not betting advice.
